Counselling is a therapy that uses conversation to help you work through specific issues, challenges or changes in life. Your counsellor will use recognised approaches and techniques to help you sort through whatever you are dealing with.
Counselling is helpful for those dealing with grief and loss, trauma, stress, life changes and transitions, anxiety and depression.
We know you are capable human and you know what’s right for you, even when you can't see it now. Our role is to help you find solutions and put them into action.
Counsellors focus on you, in a relaxed, confidential space where you are free to open up, express yourself, explore options and totally focus on you.
Counselling deals with issues, what's happened and how to adapt to, cope with or live with the consequences. It is a gentle process led by you and supported by your counsellor.
Coaching is a conversation that helps you achieve a goal or outcome, or redefine and create life as you want it.
It is a process where you will identify your values and goals, create action plans and develop strategies to achieve your desired outcome.
You will assess your current situation and identify your strengths and resources and your coach will guide you to enhance your performance and make strong, positive decisions.
Strategic coaching focuses on aligning your actions with your long-term goals and developing strategies that will continue to work in changing circumstances in the future.
Strategic coaches focus on the achievement of goals, on what can be, and will support you to make better decisions. Strategic coaching is achievement-oriented and task-driven.
Transformation comes as a result of disciplining yourself to take action despite the discomfort, and in the achieving of specific outcomes, this is where your coach is invaluable, by holding you accountable for your actions, coaching will drive achievement and get results.
Mindful is a word we have heard a lot in the last few years.
In essence it just means to pay attention. It means to be fully present in the moment and aware of your thoughts, feelings, sensations and surroundings.
Mindful Coaching and Counselling means you take time out to focus on yourself, you pay attention to the present moment. This forms the basis for the changes you want to make.
By separating from the hustle of life you are able to think, decompress, evaluate, heal and plan.
We are in Cairns and offer face to face counselling sessions in our private counselling studio in Manunda.
We offer online sessions via Zoom for clients in the rest of Australia.
